I wear a couple of different hats. Sometimes I pick up work as a freelance editor, mostly for graduate students. I'm also a children's writer.

I'm not really a genre person. Whatever comes to mind is written, typed, sometimes even sketched (stick figures, of course). I work over a range of ages; at present, I'm focusing on a middle grade novel and a collection of short stories for young adults. I'd love to say I'm poet too, but if you'd ever read my free verse, you'd see why I'd only love to say so.
I also have a number of picture books. Three are original stories, and one is inspired by a family folktale.
